Anaerobe Systems manufactures a wide variety of highly enriched, selective, and differential culture media for us in growth and isolation of organisms found the human microbiome. Our unique PRAS manufacturing process is ideally suited for cultivating fastidious and difficult to culture anaerobic organisms. Anaerobe transport media can be used to keep organisms in samples alive and viable during transport from collection to the lab.

Anaerobe Systems’ culture & transport media are poured and packaged under anaerobic conditions (PRAS media). There is no chance of oxygen contamination or damage any time during the manufacturing process. Our plates are pre-reduced and ready to use out of the package, without the need to leave them in an anaerobic environment for extended periods before inoculation.

We regularly make custom media formulations. Any broth media can be poured in larger bottles, and agar plates can be poured in custom or special sized dishes. For more information click here.

BIOME-Preserve is a first of its kind, patent pending specimen collection kit for microbiome samples which preserves anaerobic bacteria, at room temperature for up to 5 days, for culture recovery in the lab. Stock items ship from our facility within 3 days of order, and typically ship the same day.
Non-stock items ship from our facility 2-4 weeks from receipt of order.
Non-stock items are subject to a minimum order of 15 packages for tubes or 25 packs for plates.
